Welcome to the Zoo de Vincennes
The Parc Zoologique de Paris, commonly known as the Zoo de Vincennes, will officially open its doors tomorrow, April 12, 2014, after undergoing extensive renovations for over 5 years at a cost of 133 million euros! With Easter holidays approaching, it’s the perfect opportunity for families to discover this newly revamped zoo.
Explore the Zoo
Visitors can wander through more than 4 kilometers of pathways and observe 180 distinct species grouped into 5 geographic zones or biozones: Madagascar, Guyana, Europe, Sahel-Sudan, and Patagonia.
A Memorable Experience for Families
The Yoyo Moms were thrilled to attend the grand opening, where our children enjoyed watching various animals. Their top five favorites included the flamingos, giraffes, penguins, baboons, and Indigo, the delightful little bird!
Architectural Beauty
The zoo boasts stunning architecture, featuring a magnificent glass greenhouse along with striking contrasts between the pathways, stones, and natural materials used throughout the facility.
Picnic Areas and Amenities
For a delightful experience, the Paris Zoo provides picnic areas and numerous benches. We suggest bringing a picnic to enjoy while in the zoo.

In summary, the Zoo de Vincennes is an ideal destination for both children and adults visiting Paris! You can comfortably complete your visit in half a day or enjoy a more leisurely exploration over a full day.
