Playtime Paris 23rd edition

Playtime Paris Trade Show – 23rd Edition Highlights

Playtime Paris was in full swing this season with the 23rd edition of the international kids fashion, lifestyle and maternity trade show.  With over 500 exhibitors, Playtime has become one of THE best meeting points for designers and buyers. The Playtime tradeshow is known for featuring a mix of loved and established designers including Bobo Choses, Mini Rodini, Soft Gallery, Bonton) with new kidswear designers (featured in the New Now section). At the trade fair, there are so many beautiful fashion collections to discover that it’s easy to spend three full days at the salon without seeing everything there is to see.

The New Now section curated by Cécile Roederer founder of the French boutique SMALLable featured a selection of 12 first time exhibitors including Wander & Wonder (W&W), Kiboro, City Goats, Anarkid, ACBC, and Liilu.

Kiboro Kids Brand

City Goats

City Goats An entire collection made with tender loving care by Wong Ching Ching, using 100% natural plant dyes and organic textiles. The brand symbolises “a slow, healthy quality way of life in the city where nothing can stop children from enjoying their wild nature”.

Trend forecaster Julie Malait presented a variety of up & coming trends categorised into three groups: Renew, Flow and Agricool.  Malait used various kids fashion pieces from exhibitors as well as the works of talented artists to illustrate the new Fall Winter 18/19 kids trends.
