The 22nd edition of Playtime Paris the international children’s & maternity fair took place on July 1st – 3rd 2017. With 520 exhibitors and the addition of 500m² of space for new brands, the salon has become one of the top trade shows for professionals in the world. For most visitors, it’s nearly impossible to view the entire salon in less than three full days!
A few highlights of the Playtime Paris tradeshow included:
– The beautiful trend spaces by Julie Malait which present a mix and match of designer looks based on the upcoming trend of “Together” : Share, Make, & Repair. Artists David Takahashi and Julie Robert were invited to display their beautiful works to compliment the trend spaces.
– The second edition of NEW NOW curated by fashion stylist Deborah Sfez. Sfez presented a selection of young, independent designers including Walnut and Walrus, Hi little, and Organic Zoo. This section allows for new designers to have more exposure.
– Besides offering four prestigious awards, MilK Magazine also launched for the very first time, the MilK Pop Up Shop at Playtime. This shop offered designers at Playtime the opportunity to sell current collections at -30% off the retail price to salon go-ers.
