We visited Playtime Paris the international children’s trade show to check up on next season’s Fall Winter 2013-2014 fashion collections and other new products for kids. This season the salon was full of so many amazing designers that it was almost impossible to have enough time to visit everything.
Some new brands that we discovered this season at Playtime Paris include:
Freshly launched, Roule Ta Bille presented for their first time at Playtime Paris this season. With their eco-friendly stance (1 box toy bought = 1 tree planted), their portable products (each product can easily fit in it’s sack), and their cool designs, I was an instant fan. The three main box sets with a poney, bowling or football theme, come with marbles, wooden figures and pieces and black links. With this, kids can invent their own games, either by aiming marbles through holes or knocking down figures and making goals. Creativity galore with Roule Ta Bille!
Wool Fabrique a Franco-Bosnian brand created by Maya Bekto, designs gorgeous and colorful baskets, bags, pillows and rugs which are perfect for both children and adult spaces. All Wool Fabrique products are handmade on a loom which add to their allure. I don’t think I was the only fan of their products, as the stand seemed to be busy and booming every time I passed by.
We also had our eyes on Louise Misha since they begun in early 2012. With a sweet vintage feel and a lovely line of accessories and fashion, it’s difficult to not find something for every taste at a reasonable price. Their universe is full of sweet retro bows and adorable feminine jewelry for moms and daughters.
My Little Day presented their new line of party goods including plates, cups, and party favors. The perfect place for birthday party and baby shower celebrations. Also, stay tuned for their upcoming book!
Some of our favorite designers also included:
Bobo Choses based their upcoming season on the theme “June’s Lullaby”. Using the process of garment-dying, their collection includes several relaxed, naturally soft feeling and slightly vintage looking pieces. Some of my personal favorites are the all over print backpacks perfect for preschool, the color block knit sweaters, and the camel coat with guitar printed interior.
Talc presented their incontournable ear hoodies in soft dark grey and beige fluffy fake fur. We love the fur lined vests in two versions in which the fur is visible on the edges. Perfect for keeping the body warm and for layering.
Here is a list of some key products from various designers that we fell in love with!
– Knit detail boots by Pom d’Api for a bohemian look.
– A for Apple Gala Dress, with the allure of being a dressy red strapless dress, with the practical integrated soft bamboo cotton long sleeve top. A must have!
– Moon et Miel tie and dye baby bodies
– Les Enfantines removable interchangeable collars and pockets!
– The Easy Peasy bi-color boot slippers.
– La Sardine‘s cool do it yourself stuffed animals and pillows
