Paris Boat Rentals with Marin d’eau douce

Do you fancy slowly, peacefully gliding along the tree lined canal in Paris in a boat made for 2… 5, 7, or 11? The recently opened Marin d’eau douce in Paris offers electric boat rentals along the canal for one hour or the entire day!

What better way to enjoy a less explored area of Paris than by boat. For safety and security  Marin d’eau douce provides each group with  life jackets, walkie talkies, and a map with a brief demonstration on how to navigate the boat. It’s actually quite easy to do. For sun phobics or those looking for an extremely carefree ride, each boat is equipped with a parasol for shade and picnic baskets are available (for 10€ per person to reserve in advance) on the boat.  We opted for bringing our very own picnic as well as fishing poles for the kids. The possibilities are endless for exploring on the canals by boat. You can opt for staying in the boat the entire time or stopping and picnicking along the canal. Some families even made a stop for a short pause to play in the parc de la Villette!

Perfect for a day with the family or friends, this concept is in extreme demand. We recommend booking online in advance to make your ride the best ever.
