This weekend we started to get out the Christmas tree ornaments to decorate our tree. In order to get the entire family involved we decided to make a few simple DIY Christmas ornaments that the kids can easily do themselves to offer as gifts and to also decorate our own tree! With just four materials and about 5 to 10 minutes we made some very nice and festive Christmas balls.
What you will need:
– photographs or colored paper
– scissors
– 2 metal brads (per ball)
– hole puncher
Step 1
Print photos or colored paper and cut into vertical strips approximately 1 cm in width.
Step 2
Punch holes in each strip on the top and bottom
Step 3
Add metal brads to each strip on the top and bottom
Step 4
Separate image into balls and attach string
Your Christmas ball is ready!
We also purchased a few clear, plastic ornaments found at Michaels Crafts (in the USA) and Rougier et Plé (in France) and printed our photos with some glitter to make some sweet photo Christmas balls.
Happy Decorating!
