Yoyo Mom was born from a beautiful and unexpected encounter between Claire, a charming French woman, and Jaimee, an adventurous American.
Meet Claire
Claire embodies duality, straddling the worlds of childhood and adolescence while living on the outskirts of the city, filled with Parisian dreams. She recalls holidays spent meandering through France, an insatiable thirst for knowledge, summers spent digging in the dirt, and the friendships formed across the Atlantic—from Montreal to New York via Greyhound. She remembers the strength of her mother, the comforting dishes that warm the soul, the quiet presence of Pierrot, and moments such as April 14 at 1:47, with small, strong arms rolled up, yearning for more adventure during those cool morning hours.
Meet Jaimee
Jaimee brings the comforting warmth of a cozy coat and fond memories of her childhood by the Pacific. Known for constant rice at every meal and soothing garlic-infused hands, she fondly remembers the silhouette of G in a brown station wagon, her free-spirited adolescence in the Big Apple, and her relentless desire to explore and travel. Significant life events on 17/04 & 23/05 stirred feelings of life’s bittersweet moments, with her heart and suitcase landing in France, cultivating a deep appetite for culture and creativity—always ready to embark on the next adventure.
