As school slowly unwinds and summer vacation creeps up on us, there are so many fun activities to do in Paris. With the beautiful weather, it basically feels like vacation in the city already!

After 9 months of extensive rennovation the Jardin d’acclimatation has reopened its doors! With 500 animals, 40 rides, playgrounds, grassy picnic areas and various other workshops and shows for kids, this is the place to be. There is also a special ticket rate in which kids can ride more with paying less.

From June 22nd – July 4th, it’s time to discover Hawaii. This festival presents a plethora of concerts, activities and workshops throughout Paris. Wednesday, June 27thin particular, is Keiki Day (keiki means children in Hawaiian) with a workshop to make your own puppet, Hawaiian storytelling, and also an initiation to learning hula dance. 3. La Felicità
This new spot located at Station F, presented by the Big Mamma group offers a 4500 m2 (+ 1000 m2 of outdoor tables) food market with 5 kitchens and 3 bars. During the day, La Felicità offers creative workshops for kids in which parents can leave their children during two hours for free while eating “kid-free”.

It’s difficult to explain this imaginative and interactive exhibition without seeing it with your own eyes. In order to discover this “new world”, it is advised to take your time and observe the world around you. Teamlab, has created a digital universe, in which kids can color and scan their drawings that are then integrated in to the exhibition.

When the weather is nice, it’s the perfect moment to go on the look out for special vintage treasures at a good price. It’s the official flea market season in Paris! Here is a list of flea markets that can be found in and around Paris.

From June 24th until August 27th, the Jardin des Tuileries festival is open. Kids will surely enjoy all of the rides and the ferris wheel is the perfect occasion for families to have an amazing view over the city of Paris.
During summer, MAD has a packed program of workshops for kids ages 4 and up. From designing jewellery inspired by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, to creating a paper wall sculpture, or creating a model of an interior of a home, your child will surely find an activity that they will enjoy.
